More recycling – same convenience!

Starting October 1, 2026, residents will be able to recycle even more materials with the same convenience! More materials will be accepted in your blue bags, including glass containers, foam packaging, flexible plastic packaging, aerosol containers, laminated paper and plastic packaging.

Please note that items meant for long term use such as Tupperware, toys, reusable water bottles and cookware do not belong in your recycling. Consider donating them instead.

Keep items like household batteries, medical sharps, hazardous aerosols and electronics out of your curbside recycling. If it lights up, beeps, buzzes or charges, it probably has a battery and doesn’t belong in your blue bag. You can safely recycle these at the Leduc Eco Station.
