Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)

Senior’s services

The town of Calmar, in conjunction with Leduc County, provides preventative social programs through our FCSS department that assist seniors and people with disabilities in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

A housekeeping subsidy is available to assist seniors and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own safe, clean, and comfortable homes. To view this program and determine eligibility, click here.

Your local FCSS Coordinator in the Town office can also offer support to assist with:

• Information and referrals to other local resources
• Assistance with forms and applications
• Advocacy and coordination of services
