Councillor Don Faulkner

My family and I moved to Calmar in 1993. My children attended school in Calmar and still consider it their hometown. I have been on many town boards/committees and am a member of community-based organizations such as the Calmar CARES, Calmar Legion, Calmar Seniors Club and the Dart league to mention a few.

I have served on Council for 18 years, 10 as Mayor and 8 as a Councillor, being first elected in 1998. My goal over the remainder of this term is to be a positive influence on the Town Council, using my experience, insight, and knowledge to assist in making sound decisions for the betterment of our community.

I believe that High Performance Governance is all about our Organizational Ability to Lead, Imagine New Possibilities and Achieve Operational Excellence.
