Calmar Days (August 14 & 15, 2026)

Calmar Days is our annual signature community event that brings residents and visitors together for a vibrant celebration of local culture with fun, family-friendly activities, food and entertainment. Join us for a most memorable weekend at the Mike Karbonik Arena, located at 5019 47 Street!

New this year: Help celebrate the creativity and community spirit of our parade participants by voting for your favourite parade entry for the People’s Choice Award! Vote by filling out the online ballot on Parade Day or filling out a paper ballot, which will be available during Calmar Days inside the Mike Karbonik Arena, at the Town of Calmar tent and at the Town Office.

Ballots can be dropped off at the Town tent located in the parking lot of the arena after the parade or at the Town Office. Voting closes Friday, August 21 at 4 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, August 24.

Event Schedule

Friday, August 14 – Community Nights, Calmar Days Kick Off!
  • Games, bouncy castles, 50-ft obstacle course, food trucks at Engberg Park – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Summer Movie Series “Back to the Future” – Starts 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Saturday, August 15 Calmar Days

  • Calmar Days Pancake Breakfast – Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 8 a.m.to 10 a.m.
  • Calmar Days MEGA MARKET – All day throughout the town
  • Calmar Days Parade, along Main Street (see Map) – starts at 11 a.m.
  • Thistle Hill Farms Petting Zoo, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • FitSet Ninja, Mike Karbonik Arena – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Catherine McMillan Caricature’s, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Magic Pixie Entertainment, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • SGL Charitable Society, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Pop-Up Sports, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Food Trucks, Mike Karbonik Arena Parking Lot – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Calmar Days Indoor Movie “STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU.”, Mike Karbonik Arena – 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • Calmar Days Fireworks – 10 p.m.

2026 Calmar Days Parade registration

Please fill out the form below to secure your spot in the parade and a chance to be recognized by Council and the People’s Choice Award! Let’s make this year’s celebration unforgettable. Please refer to the parade map for route details. Parade float marshalling starts at 9 a.m. with the parade starting at 11 a.m.
