Communities in Bloom
The Mayor thanked the Calmar Communities in Bloom Society delegation for their presentation.

Interest Penalty on Unpaid General Accounts Receivable Bylaw
Council adopted Bylaw 2026-10 – Interest Penalty on Unpaid General Accounts Receivable Bylaw after giving it second and third readings.

Enacting this bylaw would provide Administration with a mechanism to better synchronize municipal practices.

Emergency Advisory Committee Recommendation to Council
Council directed the Policy and Bylaw Committee to undertake a review of Bylaw #2024-07 – Municipal Emergency Management Bylaw, following a review by the Alberta Emergency Management Agency.

2026 Capital Budget
Council adopted the amended 2026 Capital Budget, which includes an additional $4,200 for a wide-area mower and $5,500 for the purchase of a shed from the Calmar and District Senior’s Association.
