The Town of Calmar is working with Breycon Construction to continue road reconstruction work in the area of 52 Street and 52 Avenue starting August 28, 2026, weather permitting.
This next phase of work will involve the rehabilitation of the roadway by pulverizing and cement-stabilizing the existing infrastructure. Dust suppression measures will be in place; however, residents are advised that the roadwork will be dusty and noisy. Construction will be completed in phases to reduce impacts on residents.
Please note that all vehicles must be off the affected roads by 7 a.m. on weekdays and access will be restricted during construction, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

52 Avenue from 50 Street to Evergreen Crescent
- Start Date: August 26, 2026
- Anticipated Completion: August 26, 2026
- Work Area: Will be fully closed starting at 7 a.m.

Additional Information:
- Local residential traffic will be closed during working hours
- Emergency services access will be maintained at all times in the event of an emergency
- Garbage, recycling and mail services will continue, although on collection days (Monday and Thursday), Breycon staff will ensure bins and relocated for pick up and returned to their address
