When requesting a Compliance Certificate the following must be provided to the Town prior; 3 original Real Property Reports, an Affidavit if the RPR is dated over one year from the Certificate request, and payment.

4-10 Business days (Reg.): $ 80.00
A Compliance Certificate only verifies that the measurements on the RPR meet the setback requirements that are found in our Land Use Bylaw.

A Real Property Report is a legal document that illustrates the location of all visible public and private improvements relative to property boundaries. A registered Alberta Land Surveyor is the only individual who can legally prepare a Real Property Report.
Your Real Property Report will show:
- Legal Description of property and municipal address
- Dimensions and directions of all property boundaries
- Designation of adjacent properties, roads, lanes, etc
- Location and description of all relevant improvements situated on the property together with dimensions and distances from the property boundaries; for a list of the improvements which must be shown, refer to Part D, Section 8.5 of the ALSA’s Manual of Standard Practice.
- Other significant improvements
- Right-of-way or easements as noted on the title to the property at the date of survey
- Location and dimension of any visible encroachments onto, or off of, the property
- A duly signed certification and opinion by an Alberta Land Surveyor
