The purpose of these events is to help with the MNA citizenship application process, commission application documents, take photos for the application process & and to answer any questions people may have. Becoming a citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta is an important part of preserving our culture and history. Self-identified Métis people who do not have citizenship cards can come to the event and start the application process. Having a citizenship card opens doors to MNA programs, services and affiliates. For students there are scholarship and bursary opportunities. There has never been a better time to register and become a Métis citizen.
