Pickleball Community Drop-In

Pickleball in Calmar brings neighbours together for light competition, movement, and fun in a low-pressure setting. The game combines parts of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, so most people pick up the basics in a single evening. You get quick rallies, simple rules, and a pace that suits a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

The program runs indoors at Calmar Secondary School, so you stay active through the colder months when evening options feel limited. You do not need to buy a paddle or sign up for a league. You show up with indoor shoes, rotate into games, and meet other residents from Calmar and Leduc County.

Because the program is free and drop in, pickleball works well for shift workers, busy parents, and anyone who wants flexible recreation. Some players come to improve their skills. Others come mainly for the social time. Both goals fit the night.
