The town of Calmar’s Ukrainian culture and influence runs as deep and storied as our community's connection to the big lakes, land, and sky that surrounds us.
The town of Calmar is located on Treaty 6 Land — The traditional lands of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Mètis. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Mètis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations, and we are honoured to live on these lands.
